It’s such a thrill exploring places I’ve only read about in history books or seen in pictures. It’s such a joy meeting strangers that turn into lifelong friends. It’s such a wonder that I can travel 4,000 miles away or to the town next door and still not see everything there is to see. It’s such a comfort that despite distance or language barriers, there are always wonderful people I can relate to and share a laugh with. And because of this, travel reminds me that though the world isn’t perfect, it is still a beautiful place."
